For those in the NE corner of the United States, and online, that follow the Hellenic path and truly believe in the Gods, there is a new Temple called the Temple of Dionysus, officially recognized as a non-profit organization on the state level in RI and two neighboring states, and also federally recognized as well.

Please visit www.templeofdionysus.org for more details, gatherings, and events! Website is still undergoing content construction and whatnot at this time, so please be patient with the limited navigation.

Thank you for accepting me to the group!

I'm a Hellenic Polytheist of about 8 years. I'm also well studied in other forms of Polytheistic Reconstructionism, as well as various other forms of Alternative Spirituality. I'm very involved in the polytheistic social networks, and I'm always looking to meet other Hellenists :)

Hi! Very Interesting Group! I have a Question: What is your view on Asebia?
By asebia do you mean when it was illegal in ancient greece to worship or introduce any other gods than the once in the existing pantheon?
Yes, sorry i should have made it clear what i mean. Yes, the Dioheithes Law. (In Ancient Greece Asebia was:Desecration of the temples, mocking of the rituals, denying the existence of the gods, certain Scientific views...)

What do you consider as disrespectful towards the gods? Is there still something like Asebia in modern hellenic Polytheism? For example do you believe in Evolution?

And thank you very much for answering my questions.
